Assalamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘alameen wassalatu wassalamu ‘ala ashafil ambiya‘I wal mursaleen wa’ala alihi wasahbihi ajma’een.
Alhamdilillah, all praise be to Allah who has blessed us with the opportunity to be of service to the ummah. It is indeed an honour to be in the position to shape and mould the future generation to be progressive and dynamic individuals, who at the same time are conscious and proud of their Islamic identity and rich heritage.
Itqan’s warm and welcoming environment nurtures the building of relationships and the adab and akhlaq of students. Discipline and good manners are highly emphasized in order to create an orderly environment of mutual respect. Students learn of their role and responsibility as khalifah of Allah on three levels; their relationship with Allah, their relationship with fellow human beings and their relationship with Allah’s other creations.
Looking at the secularized world we live in today, it is a major concern that we revive the true Islamic spirit, conscience, understanding and deep faith within our youth. By integrating these values into the daily routines, the subject matters taught, as well as the social environment in the school, we hope to foster this spirit within the heart and soul of the students.
In order to achieve this, teachers receive ongoing training in both pedagogical skills as well as spiritual and religious personal development. Alhamdulillah, Itqan staff and teachers are committed and dedicated to the mission of the school. Some of them have been with the school since we started operations in 2007 and are loyal and dependable. One can liken the environment here to that of a big family, inclusive of students and parents alike.
We are blessed to have supportive parents who contribute to the development of the students and growth of the school through idea sharing, volunteering, expertise, etc. Our Parent Representatives play an active role in ensuring healthy and good communication between parents and the school in the best interest of our children.
As much as it is an honour nurturing these young Muslim and Muslimah, it is also a big amanah and we undertake this responsibility very seriously. May Allah guide us in this noble and sincere mission and bless all those involved directly as well as indirectly. Ameen, ya Rabbal ‘alameen.
